From September 17 to 20, 2025, the 34th European Academy of Dermatology & Venereology (EADV) Congress was held at the Paris Convention Center in France. The following day, La Roche-Posay launched a groundbreaking photoprotection study at the L'Oréal Dermatology & Beauty Division satellite conference, providing a better end-to-end solution for pigmentation problems. Professor Henry Lim, President of the International Federation of Dermatological Societies (ILDS), explained the mechanism by which ultraviolet A (UVA) and high-energy visible light (HEVL) cause pigmentation. On the third day of the conference, the La Roche-Posay brand symposium, titled "Invisible Scars: A Landmark Epidemiological Study," was held, delving into the long-term impact of atopic dermatitis. Internationally renowned experts, including Professor Seemal Desai from the United States and Professor Andreas Wollenberg from Germany, comprehensively analyzed the profound impact of skin diseases on patients' quality of life from the perspectives of neuroscience and psychodermatology, providing new ideas and methods for practical diagnosis and treatment.
