1. Orange Peel Drink

Take 30 grams of fresh orange peel or 15 grams of dried orange peel, add 750 ml of water, simmer until reduced to 500 ml, add an appropriate amount of white sugar and drink.

2. Garlic and Brown Sugar Drink

Take 15 grams each of garlic and ginger, slice them, add 500 ml of water, and simmer until reduced to 250 ml. Add an appropriate amount of brown sugar before going to bed and take it.

3. Cabbage soup

Take 3 Chinese cabbage roots, wash and slice them, add 3 scallion roots, simmer in 500 ml of water to make a soup, add a little white sugar and drink while hot. Alternatively, take 250 grams of Chinese cabbage heart, add 60 grams of white radish, simmer in water, add an appropriate amount of brown sugar, eat the vegetables and drink the soup.

4. Ginger and mustard green soup

Wash and chop 500g of fresh mustard greens, slice 10g of ginger, add 2000ml of water, simmer until reduced to 1000ml, season with salt and drink in divided doses.

5. Fried rice porridge with ginger

Slice 30-50 grams of ginger and 50 grams of fried rice, cook them together into porridge, and season with salt before eating.

6. Mulberry Leaf and Mint Drink

Take 6 grams of mulberry leaves, 15 grams of bamboo leaves, 6 grams of chrysanthemum, 3 grams of mint, and an appropriate amount of white sugar. Boil the mulberry leaves, chrysanthemum, and bamboo leaves in an appropriate amount of water, then pour the liquid into a teacup. Add an appropriate amount of white sugar before drinking, like tea. (Note: Not suitable for those with external wind-cold without sweating.)

7. Five-Ingredient Soup

Take 10 grams of Schizonepeta tenuifolia, 10 grams of ginger, 10 grams of Perilla frutescens leaves, 30 grams of brown sugar, and 6 grams of tea leaves. Chop the Schizonepeta tenuifolia, Perilla frutescens leaves, and ginger into coarse pieces, and place them in a porcelain jar with the tea leaves. Pour boiling water over them and cover tightly. Place the brown sugar in another bowl, pour the hot infused liquid over it, mix well, and simmer over low heat until boiling. Drink the liquid while it is still hot. After drinking, cover yourself with a blanket and lie down until you sweat slightly, at which point the fever will subside. Reheat the remaining liquid and drink it as tea. (Note: Contraindicated for those with wind-heat syndrome.)
