The benefits of chrysanthemum:

It dispels wind and clears heat, calms the liver and improves eyesight. It is used for wind-heat colds, headaches, dizziness, red and swollen eyes, and blurred vision. It has sedative and antipyretic effects. It also has inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Shigella dysenteriae, Salmonella typhi, Salmonella paratyphi, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and influenza virus.

It can significantly dilate coronary arteries and increase blood flow. It can enhance capillary resistance. Chrysanthemin has a hypotensive effect. It is used for colds with fever and dizziness; heat in the liver meridian; red and watery eyes, or blurred vision due to liver and kidney yin deficiency; dizziness and headache due to liver yang hyperactivity; and sores and swelling. The uses of chrysanthemum:

1. Chrysanthemum and Hawthorn Tea: Take 10 grams of chrysanthemum, add 10 grams each of hawthorn and honeysuckle, and drink it as tea. It can dispel blood stasis and reduce fat, cool and lower blood pressure, and help with weight loss. It is suitable for patients with obesity, hyperlipidemia and hypertension.

2. Three-flower tea: A small amount of chrysanthemum, honeysuckle, and jasmine flowers are steeped in water to make tea. It can clear heat and detoxify, and is suitable for preventing and treating wind-heat colds, sore throats, carbuncles, etc. Regular consumption can also reduce internal heat and has a calming and tranquilizing effect.

3. Chrysanthemum Honey Drink: Add 20 ml of water to 50 grams of chrysanthemum flowers, simmer briefly, then keep warm for 30 minutes. Filter, add an appropriate amount of honey, stir well, and drink. 4. Take 10 grams of chrysanthemum and 3 grams of tea leaves, brew them together, and this can help prevent early-stage hypertension.

5. Take 10 grams of chrysanthemum, 5 grams each of mulberry leaves and loquat leaves, grind them into coarse powder, and steep in boiling water to make a tea. This can prevent autumn dryness and is suitable for consumption after symptoms such as fever, dry throat and lips, and cough caused by autumn dryness affecting the lungs. 6. Chamomile has a sweet taste, especially the large or small white chrysanthemums grown in the Suzhou and Hangzhou area. Use about 3 grams each time to brew tea.
