(Beijing, this newspaper) The "China Ping An Home-based Elderly Care 'Nursing Alliance' Launch and Health and Care Service Development Forum" was recently held in Beijing.

The event was hosted by Ping An Life Insurance Company of China, Ltd., Ping An Health Medical Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Peking University Medical Rehabilitation Hospital Management Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology.

At the forum, the participating guests conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as how to solve the challenges in the home-based elderly care and rehabilitation service industry and how to jointly build a standard system for the elderly care and rehabilitation service industry, and offered suggestions to help the national strategy of "actively responding to population aging" and building a "Healthy China".

In recent years, the state has issued a series of policy documents on home-based elderly care and rehabilitation nursing, which are of great guiding significance for promoting the standardization, normalization and professionalization of home-based elderly care and rehabilitation services.

Liu Jun'e, Dean of the School of Nursing at Capital Medical University, stated that the development of nursing in my country still faces imbalances and inadequacies, with a gap between the supply of nursing services and the diverse and differentiated needs of the public. Looking to the future, the industry should focus on strengthening nursing information technology, innovating nursing service models, optimizing rehabilitation nursing service processes, and gradually achieving the modernization, scientification, and refinement of rehabilitation nursing management.

Li Dou, Chairman and CEO of Ping An Health, stated that in response to current market pain points, Ping An leverages the resources and technological strength of its group's healthcare ecosystem, integrates Peking University's medical rehabilitation service standards, and collaborates with more than 40 rehabilitation and nursing service providers and industry experts to meticulously create a "care alliance" for home-based elderly care. By establishing a closed loop of standards, systems, services, and contract fulfillment, the alliance aims to improve service quality and enhance customer satisfaction.

Specifically, Ping An's "Home-based Elderly Care Alliance" includes a set of scientific service management standards, a comprehensive set of rehabilitation and nursing products, a professional personnel certification system, a high-quality service strategic alliance, and an intelligent rehabilitation and nursing system. In terms of rehabilitation and nursing products, Ping An has launched the "Ping An Worry-Free Care" product system, providing 10 short-term and long-term services, including rehabilitation and home care, tailored to specific diseases, for patients with rehabilitation and nursing needs related to neurology, skeletal health, cardiopulmonary function, and pain management. This system connects the entire service chain from prevention to treatment, rehabilitation, and long-term care.
